About
Who we are
Samuel Ioron Foundation is a non-profit leveraging technology, art, dialogue and co-production processes to improve learning and living outcomes for women, girls and their communities. We achieve these outcomes through teaching, service and empowerment.
At Samuel Ioron Foundation, we believe in a world where women and girls are not just seen but heard, not just included but empowered. We exist because too many women and girls are denied the chance to learn, to lead, and to live free from violence and discrimination. Whether it’s a young girl struggling to access education, a woman facing economic hardship due to climate or conflict-prone displacement, or a community battling deeply rooted gender inequalities—we step in with solutions built together with those affected.

The world is changing - and so are we!
As the world is changing, so are our priorities and the way we work to ensure the singular outcome of what we want – a world that is better, safe and empowering for women and girls. We have worked together with the communities we serve and our key stakeholders to reframe our vision and mission and what our values mean for this transformational working.
A world where women and girls harness technology and education to lead, thrive, and shape equitable communities free from gender-based marginalisation and exploitation.
To break gender barriers hindering women and girl’s access to opportunities and empower them through tech-driven education, leadership development, and access to sexual and reproductive health resources—breaking barriers, fostering equity, and creating pathways for sustainable impact.
Our Core Values
Our Core Values – At the Samuel Ioron Foundation, our values are more than principles—they are the driving force behind our mission to break gender barriers and our vision of a world where women and girls lead, thrive, and shape equitable communities. Through every project, campaign, and initiative, we uphold these values to create real, lasting impact for the women and girls we serve.
01.
Trust
Trust is at the heart of everything we do. We build genuine relationships with communities by being transparent, reliable, and accountable in our work. As we raise awareness of issues affecting women and girls, provide financial aid for education, and design campaigns against sexual and gender-based violence, we ensure that every effort is grounded in honesty, respect, and a deep commitment to those we serve. We are rooted in integrity and strengthened by action.
02.
Collaboration
We recognise that sustainable impact cannot be achieved alone. By partnering with local communities, global organisations, policymakers, and grassroots advocates, we amplify our reach and co-create solutions that dismantle systemic gender barriers. Whether we are working to create job opportunities for women through digital and vocational skill acquisition or empowering girls through education and leadership development, our commitment to collaboration ensures that every voice is heard and every solution is built with those it serves in mind.
03.
Knowledge
We are powering transformation through evidence-based action. Education and access to information are the cornerstones of empowerment. Our work is driven by data, research, and innovative methodologies, ensuring that our programmes create measurable and sustainable change. From our tech-driven education initiatives to our sexual and reproductive health programmes, we ensure that knowledge is not just shared but applied in ways that empower women and girls to reclaim their agency and build better futures.
04.
Feminist Leadership
We believe in leadership that is inclusive, bold, and transformative. Feminist leadership means we are placing women and girls at the center of decision-making, policy development, and community transformation. It means ensuring that 1,000 girls through our programmes receive access to basic education by 2030, that women have pathways to financial independence, and that gender-based violence is actively challenged and eradicated. Our approach to leadership is not just about representation—it is about restructuring power dynamics to create lasting equity.
These values shape our work, guide our partnerships, and inspire every volunteer, staff member, and supporter to stand with us in building a world where women and girls harness technology and education to lead, thrive, and break barriers. Together, we are not just imagining change—we are making it happen.
