At the Samuel Ioron Foundation, volunteers are at the core of everything we do. Their dedication, skills, and passion help us drive meaningful change in the lives of women, girls, and communities affected by displacement and inequality.
Our volunteers support our programmes by advocating for transformational education, economic power, gender equality, providing direct assistance to displaced persons, facilitating education in emergencies, and helping communities rebuild and thrive. They contribute to research, fundraising, outreach, and programme implementation, ensuring that our work reaches those who need it most.
Through co-production processes, art, dialogue and technology, we value the voices of our volunteers, empowering them to be active participants in designing and implementing solutions. Together, we create lasting impact and work towards a future where every woman and girl has the opportunity to lead a dignified and fulfilled life.
We have three levels of volunteers;
Our grassroot volunteers work in their own communities bridging the distance and sharing our work with their families, friends, and communities, while our onsite volunteers support with field work in our headquarters alongside departmental programme implementation and our remote volunteers support efforts with media and digital communications.
If you’re interested, available and passionate about our work, we want you to join us!
