Report Sexual Abuse or Exploitation — Safe, Confidential, Survivor‑Centred

If you have been sexually assaulted, it’s important for you to remember that it is never your fault.  We believe you. This page lets you report sexual abuse or exploitation in or around displacement camps in Benue State. You can report anonymously or give your contact details. We only share information when it is necessary to protect someone or when the law requires it. Below is what we collect, how we use it, and what happens next.

  • In‑person: Ask for the Safeguarding Focal Point at our Office located at Plot 9571, Off Ikyumior Yaga Street, Makurdi, Benue State.
  • If you are under 18, you can report for yourself or ask a trusted adult to help. You have the right to be safe and to be heard.
  1. Our safeguarding team reviews your report within 24 hours.
  2. We assess immediate safety risks and, if needed, connect you to medical care, shelter, or legal support.
  3. With your consent where possible, we may refer to NAPTIP, police Family Support Units, or accredited GBV partners.
  4. We will keep you updated if you provide safe contact details.
